In order to secure your reservation, we require a non-refundable full payment in advance for all rooms reserved. In the event of emergency and you must cancel your reservation, we will issue an equivalent Gift Certificate a future stay at Desired Haven B&B. Gift Certificates are transferable.

We accept as payment: Cash, MC, Visa, Travelers Checks, our Gift Certificates, and personal checks. Personal checks are only accepted for your reservation deposit received a minimum 52 days in advance of your arrival. If a check is returned with insufficient funds, a $55.00 fee will be assessed to your room charge. Also, another form of payment must be received and cleared before your room can be secured for reservation.
A credit card number will be requested as an alternate form of payment.

Check in Time is 4:00 pm on your day of arrival.

Check out Time is 11:00 am on your day of departure.

A $20.00 per hour late fee will be added to your bill for checkouts later than the standard check out time. Special arrangements need to be made 48 hours in advance with the proprietors/managers for late check out. Thank you for respecting this policy, we need ample time to prepare for
other guests arrival.

Breakfast is served betweem 8:30 am-9:30 am. sharp in the common dining room. Arrangements for your preferred breakfast time will be discussed at check in. Come hungry, we serve a huge breakfast! We are happy to arrange special serving times. Special requests need to be discussed with the chef 24 hours in advance. Weather permitting, and with your permission, breakfast may be served on the deck. We will do our best to accommodate all our customer’s wishes, but we reserve the right to make menu, breakfast time and location changes at the proprietors/managers discretion.

Because we are committed to providing a true “Haven” for all our guests, we would like to ask all guests adhere to a few guidelines that lend toward an optimum level of rest and peace: Guests complain if loud talking, heavy footsteps, loud TV volumes, slamming doors and music are experienced late at night. We ask that all respect other’s needs for sleep. In a world where there is so little peace, respite and quiet many have come here seeking a place to regroup, rethink, rest and rejuvenate. We reserve the hours of 10:00 pm to 7:00 am as quiet hours at Haven.

Oh, and one more thing, please laugh - a lot - and have fun! We don’t wish to impose rigid, grumpy, behavioral norms that would dampen people’s spirits, but to just encourage a slower, quieter pace for the recuperation and joy of all our guests. That way, many that have ‘desired’ a ‘haven’ can experience one. Thanks.
